Hi and welcome back!
In your workbooks there are lots of inspirational quotes for you to read relating to health and fitness. I find quotes like these very motivational and if you do too, you might like to pick out some from the book, or search the net for different ones, and write them onto Post It notes and stick them somewhere you will see them everyday. Today, I invite you to share with us any of your favourite quotes and perhaps how they motivate you.

Good morning girls just read all your really helpful comments from yesterday. I guess Jayne and i were typing at the same time because there were no comments from you when i logged on yesterday otherwise i would have responded. BUt let me say to you all thank you for all your support. I realise i do eat emotionally - and after being with my friend and feeling so helpless that i do not help her more, i came away feeling low and saddened. So what do i do? My usual! But at least I recognise this now. You are right Apple I will not beat myself up about it but I feel so much stronger today. You must be right Sue - us and our hormones!!!! The low feeling from yesterday has gone after a good workout with Jayne and Pear (lovely to meet you at last) and i will continue to move forwards on the programme. Like you say Apple it probably will take me a little longer but I will get there. I owe that to myself.
Food choices from yest: breakfast - usual: back at work after exercise: tom soup; pots, onion, cabbage, seeds; satsuma; little left-over rice and curry sauce, seeds.
I would comment that your food choices yesterday contained very little protein yesterday Mara, although you did have seeds twice which are a good source of protein and essential oils.x
Also recognising you have been emotional eating is the first step to being able to change your habit, so well done Mara!
Sorry busy day today. I will look at quotes and comment
in response to your observation Sue about my portions. No I am not in diet mode restricting myself, just listening to my body, I dint seem to need as much at the moment, I suppose I have been significantly less active
food choices
porridge yog banana
handful seeds and dried fruit
tuna sandwich ( I was out so no salad)
2 oatcakes piece cheese apple
grilled chix and bacon with mushrooms and aubergine on watercress, kiwi and tomato salad
nakd bar
can't wait for tomorrows results!!!
I can honestly say I am really enjoying my food choices, do not feel deprived, actually the opposite, I feel liberated!
When I went shopping today, I really enjoyed looking for the nutricious foods I was going to treat myself with. I have not missed alcohol ( I have surprised myself there) and feel so much better. No diet, no guilt, no hunger pangs, no chains round my neck- wow!!!
