Now you are someone who includes exercise as part of their regular routine as well as being someone who fuels their bodies with healthy foods...the next step is to enjoy being that someone and enjoy the gains you are experiencing!

Good morning everyone!! How are you all today? Glad to hear you new guys are aching from your first session with Sue - I thought it was just me and Pear who suffered from that! I promise you it DOES get easier!! Do stick to the regular sessions, even if you are in agony as you will be amazed how much you can do when you get started, even if its a challenge getting on and off the loo without your muscles screaming at you at the moment!!!
I hope to be back to some of Sue's sessions when the boys go back to school in a fortnight, too much of a juggle at the moment as daytimes are out and most evenings I'm working! Missing my regular yoga session today which I'm gutted about but will make up for that tomorrow. I will be able to fit in a great step class tonight though which I'm thrilled to be going to as it's one of my favourites! Challenge for the brain as well as the body!!
I love my boys being at home so am enjoying this time while it lasts! My mission this week is to find somewhere we can go at the weekend to see some baby lambs before my 'baby lambs' grow up and don't want to see things like that anymore!
Have a fun day everyone xx
From Mandy....
Well this is day 2 today, and what a buzz I got from my exercise session, dare I say that I didn't ache so much afterwards? I was happy with my food choices today and enjoyed preparing my meals from scratch. I don't know if it is because I exercised today but I did feel hungry tonight but I had a few strawberries and a glass of water and it seems to have done the trick. I also had the visual disturbance of a migraine this afternoon but I took two migraleve tablets and laid down for 30 minutes and it went off. Strange. Anyway here is my food diary for today:
Breakfast: porridge made with unsweetened soya milk, hemp seeds and chopped banana
Snack: handful of pistachio nuts
Lunch: Sauteed potatoes, green salad (rocket, spinach and watercress) with grilled chicken breast (skinless), tomatoes, cucumber, celery, radishes, spring onions and cucumber. Balsamic vinegar dressing - I buy Morrisons The Best Balsamic Vinegar - very expensive but so very naturally sweet!
Snack: handful of almonds
Supper: Roast lamb, roast potatoes/parsnips (cooked in rapeseed oil), carrots, peas, cauliflower and brocolli, small amount of gravy
handful of strawberries.
Hope you enjoyed your step class Apple and your foot felt good. I know you will have put 100% into it! x
Mandy, you worked so hard today at your session and it was fantastic to see and hear you enjoying the buzz you were getting from it! I hope you were pleased with your achievements and realise now you are much stronger than you thought! Your food choices today were perfect, lots of natural foods with a good balance and variety of vegetables and fruit, perfect for fuelling your muscles before and after your workout as well as providing essential nutrients to promote health and well being. The migraine may be the symptom of dehydration after you session or a release of toxins from the exercise and change of diet. Hopefully your body will adapt to the changes you are making soon but it isn't unusual to experience headaches, especially when reducing the sugary foods. x
BF: Greek yougurt and 2 pots of fruit in fruit juice. Lunch: 4 rice cakes 2 with tom puree and mashed avocado, 2 with ham and avocado. snack: Sue's flap jack and bake slice (both were lovely!). Tea was burger (organic) handful of rocket salad, stir fried mushrroms & peppers.
