Hi and welcome back!
Tomorrow is weigh-in day for some of you and it is important that you come along feeling positive about what you have gained so far and not worrying about what you have lost. As I have said, if you worry about losing something you try and find it again so, today I would like you to spend a little time reflecting on your journey - how you felt at the start, and how you are feeling now and what you have gained from the programme. You might like to write it down here to help reinforce your positivity.

Sorry i haven't written and indeed this is very short because in my job I am a Travel Co-ordinator and for that, i am working non-stop trying to get business people back to Europe and those over there back!!!! Will see you tomorrow Sue and Dusty - go gentle on me - it has been a very busy testful week!!! xx
Well I felt positive at the beginning to make change when my daughter went off to Oz. I set a personal goal for that first month. The weight came off, however things were taken out of my control cos I got flu and did not exercise for 2 weeks. So I felt netter but not really much fitter. So that showed me that things will come up along the way and to just keep going. Where I am mow is that my changes are incorporated on my life and I know if I keep going I will get fitter and stronger and lighter!
I went on a workshop today- this came from it. Am I doing what is needed to take me closer to what I want, or am I doing what will take me away from what I want?
If I use the tools given to me and stay in this moment then I am doing what is needed to take me closer to what I want- a healthy fitter stronger body that works with me and feels great to be in.
Looking forward to seeing peeps tomorrow.
Food choices today

Loads of water and spring sunshine, makes for a pretty good day. Can't wait for my first boxercise class in the morning.
Thanks for this Jayne, it goes well with your goal pictures..if you move towards your goal you will find it easier to get there, and as you say, by using the tools available today i.e, eat healthily, be active, then today you are being a healthy and fit person. The more you see yourself being a healthy and fit person the more you will remain one and be even closer to what you want!
Have a fantastic time at the class tomorrow, I hope it gives you lots of amazing, positive feelings. x
Hi everyone!! Mara, what a nightmare time you must be having with your job this week. Good luck with that! Jayne, I'm so excited about your first Boxercise class!! The instructor Neil is lovely. His son is best chums with mine so I know him really well. He will really look after you and you will have a great time! Can't wait to hear all about it.
Well I've had a good few days though haven't done as much exercise as I would have liked. Did a great yoga class tonight though and feel so much more energised and focused now. I am quite amazed how I get that feeling from yoga every time I do it. It's most definitely my passion and I can't get enough of it!!
Do any of you know about the Body in Balance channel on Sky TV? Its class after class of mainly different styles of yoga including the really energetic ones, Pilates and some other types of classes too. It's really worth a look. I like to Sky+ the programmes so I can follow along and pause if I need to catch up a bit! Its something a bit different and easy to do at home at any time...even in your pyjamas!!!
There is a new class coming to our health club which looks so much fun!!! Its called something like Capiaero...I know I have spelt that wrong! and it is martial arts in a dance style...if you can imagine such a thing. What I loved about it was what the instructor had written about himself and his class. He is totally passionate about it and enthuses so deeply it had me completely sold on it! So much so I was practically ready to camp outside the studio door with my sleeping bag in anticipation of the first class...which would be a long wait as it's not till Thursday!!!
What struck me about it is how excited I felt by his enthusiasm. And it got me thinking how easy it is to actually feel that way if we allow ourselves to. Either by feeding off someone elses enthusiasm, or by immersing ourselves in our own passions. So yes, I can and do easily feel this way about yoga already. But I have a new passion in my life - being fit and healthy. I get excited about buying and preparing healthy food, excited about exercise sessions I go to, excited about watching and feeling my body change for the better.
So, like the new instructor, I am totally passionate about the healthy lifestyle I now lead, can't help but enthuse deeply about it on a daily basis to myself and others. And I am COMPLETELY sold on it today and always!!
Have a great weekend everyone and immerse yourselves in your passions today and every day too!!
Oh...and I had an idea!! I love herbal teas but I usually stick to the same ones as I've bought a few in the past, haven't liked them and ended up throwing the whole box away.
So....I thought that maybe we all feel a bit the same? Or maybe you are new kids on the block when it comes to them altogether and not sure what to try or if to try them!
Well how's this for an idea??
Why don't we all select one or two of our favourites and give enough bags to Sue for all of us to try - I make that 8 to include Sue. Then when all the bags are in, Sue can distribute them to each of us when she next sees us! That way we all donate 7 bags of the same flavour tea to Sue and we receive 7 back but a selection of everyone's favourites!!
A cheap and easy way to try something new!
What do you reckon?
Sorry...I meant we all donate 8 bags of the same flavour tea and get 8 back (including one of our own!)
Hello! Breakfast: I had 2 slices of brown bread with marmite and peanut butter. I fancied bread! Snack: 5 brazils. Training with Sue at lunch time - felt better than on Tuesdays session! Snack: Sue's scrummy fruit cake slice (yum yum!) and and piece of flapjack. Evening meal: Chicken stir fry, with rice noodles. Followed the advice on the rice noodles - so didn't clump. However I forgot to warm the bowls and we had cold rice noodles with hot chicken stir fry...hmm!! Snack: Popcorn in pm. Felt back to normal today, Mum went home last night. I am happy to get back to me and what I want to do.
From Mandy...
Oops, sorry I forgot to put this on last night. I had a lovely day off even though I was doing the usual things like food shopping/housework etc. But I did spend time in the afternoon with my children and our two guinea pigs (who Sue now knows I am besotted about!!). I had a thought inspiring session with Sue today about me and who I am and who I want to be and how I will get there - it was quite deep but fascinating at the same time. Thoroughly looking forward to my next session when Sue has promised I can try boxing - I think I will enjoy this......Well here are my food choices for Friday:
Breakfast: Grilled bacon, sauteed mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes
Snack: home made sugar free flapjack
Lunch: Romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, celery, cucumber, grapes, radishes, balsamic vinegar, sardines, boiled white rice
Snack: home made sugar free flapjack
Tea: Grilled 100% beefburger, peas, homemade chips (not too many but they are yummy!)
Lovely choices again Mandy, and good to see that you didn't eat too many chips..everything in moderation, and I do believe a little bit of what you fancy does you good..the important word being LITTLE!!
A nice lot of vegetable choices too! x
Sorry Apple, only just seen your post re herbal tea..great idea, thank you. Will send the idea out on todays email. x
