“A man who is constantly engaged in action and works hard until he has achieved his goal, undergoes lots of metamorphosis and positive change which helps in his self improvement”

Hi and welcome back!

And welcome to our new FAT-SCRAPPERS!

These pages are for you to use to help you with your motivation. Keeping a daily record of the foods you eat, your daily activity and any exercise you perform will ensure that you to stay focused and on the right track. It will also enable me to advise, encourage and support you where possible and most of all; these pages will help you to help each other!

Today, I invite you to tell us a bit about yourself (you don’t have to use your real name), about what you are hoping to achieve by following the FAT-SCRAP programme, about what you think you might find difficult or easy, or anything else that you would like to share with us.

And current FAT-SCRAPPERS, well, you have had your week(s) off and experienced following the FAT-SCRAP Programme on your own. Today I invite you to share with us your experiences and your thoughts for this coming month.

And of course, to anyone following our FAT-SCRAP experiences we would love you to join in with your comments, questions or, much appreciated, support!! Let us know if you have been inspired by our FAT-SCRAPPERS to make some of the FAT-SCRAP changes and how they have helped you!

A big big welcome to the new fat scrappers from one of the 'oldest' ones!!!

Welcome to the first step on the road to a healthy happy life...welcome to the first day of the rest of your life...welcome to more energy, vitality, confidence...

Whoa!!! A bit dramatic huh? Well this is how my journey on Fat Scrap has been and I make no apologies for being totally enthusiastic and passionate about it. Like any journey it will be hard going at times but if you stick with it and be confident and happy in this brilliant investment you have made in yourself and your future...you will love every minute of it!!

Looking forward to seeing you in Sue's gym soon! And very best of luck with your first couple of weeks xxxx

One of our new FAT-SCRAPPERS is having difficulty in signing in at the moment but she has sent me her food diary etc so I will add it here for her today.

Hi Sue

I had a very successful day yesterday!

Breakfast was;
smoothie (mango, banana and grapefruit juice) and a 1 egg omlette with herbs. Yum
After our Fatscrap induction I made some more flapjacks, so I had one of them.
For lunch I had salad and ham.
That evening we had a friends birthday - which offered some choices!I did drive, so I had only 2 mouthfuls of wine with loads of water! Black coffee with no sugar (a new one for me) and I declined cake!! (that's never heard of - everyone questioned me but I just said that I was trying to look after myself and that birthday boy had lost 8lbs in the last 8 weeks and deserved it).
I did have a chinese - I chose egg fu yong (egg omlette type thing with mushrooms and onions and chicken) and I also had a little chicken satay. So hopefully not as bad as it could have been.

Thank you to Apple and our newbie, (not sure what she would like to be known as at the moment) for your comments. We have another newbie started too but she is away this weekend so we will be hearing from her later. Dusty is also away this week.

Apple, it was lovely to meet up with you again this week, you are looking so "sparkly"! I know that everyone is commenting on your changes but interestingly, it is more the difference in your face I have been hearing about and that you are looking younger - good news eh!! I am so thrilled that you have made healthy eating part of your lifestyle now as it was the one thing missing from your almost healthy lifestyle before!
I am so excited at seeing your changes lead to another drop in dress size for you!!

To our newbie - you have made some great choices today and I know that you thought this was going to be difficult but hopefully today has shown you what you can do with a little bit of forward thinking and focus. I think deep down we all love to eat healthily, and enjoy how we feel after we have eaten natural foods it's just that we sometimes think that it is difficult to do this or we think we don't have the time to prepare food but if something is important to us we usually can make the time, and really, how long does it take to peel a mango and banana, open some yoghurt, wash and chop some salad vegetables and mix together the flapjack ingredients?!!

And you even proved that eating out you can make some healthy, enjoyable choices and still have a good time!

Well done!! x
