So, today, whether you are just beginning your journey or are well on the way, I invite you to share with us how you are going to, or continuing to, look at what you can do and what can be so that enjoy each day of this journey of health and fitness in a positive and excited frame of mind.

Hi everyone!

Sue, what a lovely quote and thought for the day, thank you xx

It's very interesting for me to think of my frame of mind regarding this journey. In fact I find I have had to really think about it. Not because its an effort to be positive and enjoy each day but because I realise that actually - this is exactly me now. I don't have to make any sort of conscious effort to be positive or to enjoy this journey. I do, I am, I'm living it. It's the normal way to be now. How much the mind plays in our whole being! By adopting a positive happy approach to everything in life, face every challenge with a smile, learn from each and every day....everything just starts to slot into place.

And I will add a quote if I may from the lovely book you gave me Sue, to compliment your quote....

"I am willing to release old, negative beliefs. They are only thoughts that stand in my way. My new thoughts are positive and fulfilling."

Just about sums up for me how much of it is down to the choices we make. So everyone - you are in charge of your own destiny and choose for it to be a happy healthy positive one today!

Thank you Apple, as your quote so beautifully sums it up - it's really only our thoughts and beliefs that stand in our way. If you have beliefs and thoughts that stop you getting where you want to go, you have to change them to ones that help you move forward.

An example of this would be the belief that you don't have the time to prepare healthy meals or exercise. If you change this to a beleif that you can make the time, you will. This might mean sacrificing time doing something else but again if you beleive that this is important you will.

Try substituting the words can't might, try, should and could to WILL or CAN and noticing how you feel as you say these words. You might then notice whether you WANT.

As you say Apple, you are living a healthy and fit lifestyle now, it's how you see yourself, it's what you beleive in and it's easy! The outcome of living this healthier lifestyle is that your body has become healthier..you are carrying less weight; you have more energy and vitality and you are able to do more, and it's so fantastic seeing you this way!

So everyone reading this, please be inspired by Apple's comments and know that you can achieve a healthier and fitter lifestyle, just like her!

I have something else to share with you guys....have you all tried the Fuel juice bar in Basingstoke? It's next to Lush and it's just great!! They have loads of combinations to make freshly for you. Some with dairy and some dairy free and all delicious! I also tried a Bounce Premium Protein Ball which is basically like a chewy lump of peanut butter!! I'm not really selling it well here but trust me its yummy and it does make you feel bouncy! It only has good things in oh...and wheat free with no added sugar too. I just love their slogan too ... 'Get the Balls and Live Life to the Full'!!

So if you are in town like I was yesterday and fancy a pit stop then instead of heading for a coffee bar, try this instead...it's fab!!

Thanks for this Apple, always good to hear of any healthy finds - your jam one has been very useful! Thye sound a bit like the balls I have made before using nut butter mixed with chopped nuts, seeds and fruit. You might find you can make your own versions a lot cheaper!
